I’m a designer from Auckland, New Zealand with 10 years of design experience. At age 15, after dabbling in html on the Myspace platform, I quickly discovered a passion for web and graphic design. I have always been an enthusiastic freelancer - I love coming up with fresh and innovative ideas and applying these over different platforms to create tangible results for my clients. I especially enjoy engaging with smaller business and brands to help them expand their business offering through branding, digital design, print or photography. I take joy in design by turning rough, unresolved problems into beautiful and crafted design experiences. Through my background in both advertising and marketing I can bring a practical mix of both to every project. I have an ability to push boundaries with creative thinking, while still ensuring that your business goals are met.
I picked up my first SLR when I studied analog photography in high school, and since have not put that passion to rest. Over my career as a freelancer, I use photography as an illustrative tool, a form of visual communication to bring the mood and tone of a project to life. I have experience in many areas of photography, from events such as live concerts, The New Zealand Fashion Week, weddings, to portraiture, and content for marketing & advertising.
These days I use photography as another source of creative outlet, which enables me to leave my computer and photograph my other joys in life that is nature, adventure, and the outdoors.
